Does not moisturize at all. I have tried many shampoos and conditioners that contain shea butter and have always found that these products do not moisturize the skin despite what the label claims. I will not spend my money on this brand again.

This shampoo moisturizes my hair and today I tried it for the first time and I liked it 😍. I've tried so many shampoos and in all the time I've had them I've never felt them work on my hair. But then I tried this one and my hair got soft and a lot of people noticed that my hair was different.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I have thin, thin hair, slightly wavy, but I can never decide between straight and curly - I always struggle with frizzy hair! This shampoo and conditioner makes my hair so soft and helps tame frizz by locking in moisture. The shampoo is quite runny, but that doesn't bother me. I would say worth a try if you have similar hair, have a lot of frizz or are trying to recover from heat/color damage.

I've been using Shea Moisture products on curly hair for a long time. My hair strands are parted individually, so my curls become loose and weigh slightly. This product is lightweight, rinses easily and conditions curls.

Due to aging, graying and bad haircuts, my curly locks have lost their fullness and curl. Today I used the shampoo and conditioner for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. I love the smell of the product. My scalp feels stimulated and some frizz is back! I was quite impressed from the first use so I just ordered the conditioner to use in combination with the shampoo and conditioner.

I rate this product five stars. I am African American with 4c thick curly hair and this shampoo and conditioner set has done a great job on my hair. It smells nice and made my hair soft and manageable and I was able to detangle it easily after washing it with 5 star shampoo and conditioner.

Well, for starters, came a packet of leaking shampoo. Not particularly impressed. The shampoo is very watery and the conditioner doesn't work well. My ends shine like straw. I just got my hair cut, I don't dye my hair or use any other products that aren't approved for curly girls. If it wasn't a problem I would send it back.

To be honest I don't know what happened to Shea Moisture but this formula is wrong! It makes your hair dry and combable. There is not what the advertisement gives. The moment she sold the hydration to a non-ethnic company, the formulas changed and this is a product of that. Pros: It smells great (this is not a paid review, Mielle and Mixed Chicks products are much better for natural girls)
