They arrived flat in the box, not folded which means no creases for holes. They are durable, took a few zips to fully seal. I added an oxygen scavenger to keep my rice and flour free of air. I was going to buy a 5 gallon but a lot of reviews mentioned air leaks because they were folded for shipping. Glad I got these instead, 4 bags fit perfectly in a 5 gallon grocery bin meaning I can open 1 bag at a time and the rest stays fresh.

My only concern was how long the zippers would last and they proved VERY durable. This is the perfect size. They have a closed bottom with pleats and an open top with a zip and additional heat seal over the zip. These are the most elaborate mylar bags on Revain. Why would you want an open bottom pouch that needs to be heat sealed before you can use it when you can opt for that? For permanent storage, use a ziplock or heat-sealed bag.
