Pretty cheaply made. TIC is much better and I should have bought it. I have a feeling I'll have to replace this one at some point. And my switch isn't right next to it.

The roll pin hole was in the wrong place causing the shifter to tilt to the right. This resulted in the shifter being unable to engage 5th gear or reverse because the shifter could not be moved further to the right. Bad quality control.

If your Subaru's shifter is wiggling from side to side, you need to replace it! Looks high quality and the sockets are normal. Worth it if you have a sloppy shifter. but you need to install from below. a lift or large jacks are a must.

The bushings seem pretty solid and definitely fixed most of the play in my derailleur but the roller pin hole isn't drilled straight, so the derailleur is held an angel. The included image is in 3rd gear, which is clearly off center as it should be.

The item was inexpensive and worked great. My mechanic charged me more for the installation than I thought as Subaru is not known for easy access to all of their models. In general, switching processes and smoothness have been significantly improved.

Visual inspection of the part looked good but it was not directly welded on. After installation, my derailleur had a definite tilt to the right where neutral was where 5th gear or reverse gear should have been. Attempting to shift into 5th or reverse would result in the shifter rubbing the right side of the bezel. Luckily I was able to repair my old shifter with the bushings from this one.

Terrible product. If you're looking for a review on this, take my word for it because I actually installed it. If you want your switch to literally dangle to the left, totally off center then this is your product but if you are a normal person on this earth do not and I repeat do NOT buy this product, I am so disappointed i spent a good 4 hours under my car taking it all apart and am really looking forward to this repair on my sloppy derailleur which i will give credit for it made me feel like…
