🚴 Shimano 105 CN HG 601 Chain: The Ultimate Choice for Reliable and Smooth Cycling Performance Review

This chain is *supplied* with a pin. Don't be like me and drive an hour and a half to the LBS to buy a pin before checking. Other than that, it's great.

I bought this to replace the chain in my Shimano 105 groupset. It's awful, rattles and noisy as can be. The old chain was silent. Yes, I attached it with the letters facing out, so that must be the right direction. Very disappointed; won't do it again.

I bought this chain for my Fuji road bike to replace a normal chain for 4000 miles because the chain gauge reaches 0.05 or more but not 0.075 to hold the sprockets , it's worth it, but there are other products out there that are just as good, so buy what you're looking for.

That's how it says. It does what you would expect. It's 4 stars not 5 because the factory lube is sooooo sticky on these chains. Your chain will last longer if you clean the factory lube and apply a good quality chain lube before use to prevent sand, dirt and anything else on the road from sticking to your chain.

When installing these chains, the Shimano logo on the plates should be facing out (towards you). The inner plates are beveled for better shifting. This vendor provided a connector (not a pin). There is a difference between a pin and a link. When installing the handlebar, the arrow on the handlebar should point toward the front of the bike.
