Highly Efficient SHIMANO CN-6600 Ultegra 10-Speed Chain for Smooth Cycling Performance Review

10 speed chain is "old tech" now I think [who needs 11]. but sometimes it's hard to find parts for bikes that are only a few years old [when 10 speed was king]. Fast delivery from supplier. Excellent performance from Shimano, of course. I'm a happy customer.

All my road bikes use Shimano 6600/7800 components and I have been using 6600 chains with good results for several years. I recently discussed the compatibility of the new 6700 series chain with LBS mechanics and everyone agreed that the new version didn't work well with the old groupsets. Since my LBS no longer supports the old chain, Revain was the logical choice.

This chain works perfectly. Wears well, wears well and, when it comes down to it, looks great. I mean, it's a CHAIN, you know. It has to transfer the power from the crank to the rear wheel. He does it well. I have a Dura Ace 7900 rear cassette, Ultegra 6700 crankset and Dura Ace 7900 shifters, the chain works well and shifts well with everything.
