When installing the dimmer's controller, do remember to use the 2-prong pin, the pin's sharp side set into the light strip, the round side to the dimmer controller's round holes. Looks great, darkens well. Buy Remote

Used on our screened in porch and looks great. Dimmers are handy because they can be very bright. Don't forget to buy a remote control to dim it.

Beware of fires from this unit

I installed this on a 150ft led strip and after an hour the remote didn't work and when I got to the plug the white box was hot enough to to burn my hand! Sent replacement and it worked for less than 2 weeks and then stopped working.

I love these lights! - Seasonal lighting

Ideal for indirect lighting. Easy to install and the remote works well even though we placed the transformer in the attic above the bedroom. The remote also offers multiple brightness settings and modes, so you can set it bright for easy visibility and lower for TV viewing. Highly recommended.

Be sure to buy a dimmer (optional purchase)

1. There are always add-ons. Beware. If you need a dimmer, you'll have to shell out more than $0.2. The instructions are generally poor, but the light is simple and you can figure it out, but it requires some patience.3. The lights themselves are great with dimmer.4. You can find another product cheaper as these lamps are quite expensive.

Very cool version of the rope lantern

So I needed rope lanterns that could be dimmed. They were very expensive, especially with dimmers, but looked very cool. There are no actual instructions for the remote control. There are no batteries either. And when you get one, it goes upside down. It would be very helpful! The reduction and addition to this is quite inventive. So far so good, stay cool. Hope they last a long time!

It's beautiful, installation was easy; However, the directions left a lot to be desired.

Beautiful, easy installation; However, the instructions were minimal and left a lot to be desired. The instructions were actually for a different type (older, I think) LED string light. However, after looking at the direction and light of the rope, I was able to figure it out. Integrating the dimmer into the remote control was very easy. We used a chain of lights to illuminate the ceiling element. The light from the rope is perfectly even, with no bright or dull spots. The rope is very fluid…
