🏇 Shires Composite Premium Profile Stirrups: Top-Quality Performance and Durability Review

The product is well made and attractive. However, the adult size is made for a grown man with very large feet. I'm a 5ft 10in female wearing size 8 boots and swimming in these trendy stirrups. So I'm returning the adult size and buying a second set of kid's stirrups.

Good quality so light! I bought caterpillars for these stirrups before realizing in time that they aren't stirrups too. The splints obviously only fit these composite stirrups. They come with both stirrups and green steps. already in the stirrups. At least I have an extra pair! Haven't used them yet but put them on the saddle. They are much lighter than my old metal stirrups. I look forward to trying them out!

I love these irons. Unlike the stainless steel irons I started riding with, these absorb some of the impact on landing when jumping. They are lightweight, durable, easy to clean and significantly reduce leg fatigue in cross-country and show jumping. I even have them on my dressage saddle. For those like me who have a little worn joints from horseback riding and other high risk sports, these irons will make riding more comfortable.
