Shoei helmets are not cheap and they are not thinner than standard cheek pads. This is a Shoei original product and they snap right in to give you a little extra room in the cheek area of the helmet if needed.

Just received and installed these today and they match the helmet perfectly. I haven't ridden the new cheek pads yet, but the fit is up to you. They're expensive for what they are, but they appear to be genuine Shoei pieces, so that's what's going on with this brand.

Solves the problem of a tight fit but definitely too expensive for a piece of molded foam and plastic clips. With an expensive helmet, they have to be there. I have a very narrow face and the 35mm factory parts squeezed me like a bug. Seriously Shay? Just take more for the helmet and add - it doesn't make customers happy.

Shoei Neotec's standard cheeks are 35mm thick and too thick - a super chipmunk face and quite uncomfortable! These 31mm fit much better and after a few rides they fit perfectly; cozy but not crowded and not disturbing. At $42 they are a bit pricey and it would have been great if Shoei offered a choice of sizes when you first bought them, but you can't have everything. When these wear out I will buy another set.

Shoei original OEM product. Fits the helmet perfectly and fits my face much better. Highly recommended if you have XL Shoei Neotec that are too tight in the cheeks. XL helmets come with 39mm cheek pads, these 35mm pads make a huge difference in the comfort of my helmet. No price advantage over OEM but much easier to find and easy to find.
