Description of Shogun Kawasaki 2018 2019 Complete Slider

***NO BODY MODIFICATIONS REQUIRED***. All Shogun Motorsports standard kits have SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE along with a 1 YEAR FREE puck replacement WARRANTY for White, Black and PA2 kits. All frame slider kits come with left and right frame sliders and all necessary mounting hardware. (Contact Shogun Motorsports for details.). Shogun frame sliders are superior to other frame slider brands by virtue of their construction and material. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperatures like some types of foreign recycled Delrin or fade in the sun. Each puck has a press fit aluminum bushing to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the puck tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle. Made in the USA.

Best deal on frame glides

I gave 5 stars because I think the setup would be ok but value. Hell yes, $116 for a SET, you can find a better deal. I bet you won't. Likes protection at a low price. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

I hope you never need them.

Easy installation, no need to completely remove fairings. I used elastic cords to support the fairing during installation. Alignment checked on both sides and then tightened. Body reinstalled and done. As mentioned, I hope I never have to find out how effective they are.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Saved my bike - Motorcycle & Powersports

There was a drop in speed when my rear wheel flew into a patch of mud, there were some dents and scrapes on the slider but luckily it worked , the fairings are totally intact and moreover DO NOT FORGET TO CLOSE ALL THE SCREWS, this is of paramount importance and avoids any possible vibration.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are nuances

Installed on a 2019 Ninja 400

This is a cheap base set of frame sliders. Its good quality. You will need a 14mm torque wrench and an 8mm hex wrench adapter. I went to the auto zone and got them for $35. This is for installation only. Before installing it, you need to know how to remove the trim. This can take 1 to 2 hours. At the same time, install an additional LED and socket for the charger and relay there in a cheap and sensible way.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Coarse

shogun? more like shovin!

**Huge shoutout @CycleShredder** - Over the top and extremely useful. Will definitely be buying from them in the future whenever possible! First let me say that I love everything about this kit from Shogun installed on a 2018 Ninja EX400 ABS. For just over $100, you can buy a margin of safety for your Ninja in case you ever fall or your bikes hit the ground for any reason. Granted now, they are not guaranteed to salvage the bike/fairings depending on what happens. But they absolutely don't hurt

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
