Works with Shop-Vac Blue Gray 16 Gallon. I was apprehensive about ordering this because someone wrote a review and said there were no threads. Works well!

This cap is not threaded and cannot be tightened on the drain port. The cap can be knocked off easily. They do not sell replacement caps that match the original. My suction and blower combo is now a blower. I am looking for a replacement vacuum and will not consider the Shop-Vac brand.

What justifies the price for a cheap piece of plastic? Yes, it fits in my 16 gallon Shop Vac that was rendered unusable because someone very carelessly emptied it. I won't call him by his first name. Nowhere in my Shop Vac information was there anything about this item if a replacement was needed. Yes they have a number you can call for information directing you to leave a message.
