Good enough for light covers

Nice doesn't fit perfectly. You can push and pull it back and forth. But it works. I put 3m tape on it and it stays in place as long as nobody touches it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Updates

Fits well and looks good

You'll need some silicone on the inside to make sure it stays in place, but it's not heavy at all. Fits as advertised, looks good and I have no problems with it at all.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The quality is good, looks good, but.

This is well made metal of considerable thickness, looks good once you have it fitted but comes with no fixings, no glue, clips, nothing. You have to figure out how to make him stay. I had to glue mine to the chrome headlight surround.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Nothing

I think it will do. good for lighting and lighting accessories

I thought I'd try this item to upgrade my headlamp from the standard lamp without a costly replacement. I had to do some shadow engineering to make it stand still without moving, but I'm not sure it will take long. I think I'll go ahead and buy a headlamp, but it will do until I do. The chrome plating is good, it polishes very well, and the item is not thin. It just doesn't "match" my headlight housing very well.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • unreliable

chrome visor. No tape, no glue.

Cover the front fender first so you don't cut yourself if you drop tools or parts on it. Once covered you will find that you don't drop as many things. Why? who knows how it is. I installed this on 06 Road King. I removed the chrome trim ring, one screw below and held it on top with a wire clip. Push out from below. I then removed the 3 small screws holding the electroplated ring that holds the headlight in place. I installed the visor under the galvanized ring that holds the bulb. DO NOT…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Spectacular visor gives the motorcycle a classic look!

I installed this on my Yamaha V-Star 950. I first covered the front fender with a blanket to protect it from falling parts. Then I removed the two outer screws holding the lamp assembly to the main body. Then I carefully pulled the lamp assembly out of the housing. Then I removed the two internal screws on either side of the assembly that attach it to the bezel ring. These two screws have a retainer so they can be difficult to remove. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver and high torque. One of the…

Pros
  • Great for a small house

  • Everything great
