Works really well in the shower - so well I can't shower without it :) I even take it to our backyard playground when the kids play. They love listening to music while we play. I bought this 2+1/2 years ago and I still love it. I bought one a year ago and it had some sort of electrical issue that caused the battery to die overnight unless I opened the back and turned it off with a slide switch. Didn't try to return it, although it seems other people have had good experiences when they've had to do so. This one died after a year but I liked it so much I bought another one and it worked great from day one and still works.
