DO NOT BUY THIS FOR PETROL

Rubber hose and bulb completely worn out within 6 months. Stranded me on my boat in open water. When I finally found the source of the problem, I couldn't believe the deterioration of the bulb and tube and the many places it was leaking.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • So-so

It seems to have improved! Best in Fuel Lines

Improved! I bought a few of these but after a year they were rock solid, they were cheap enough so I was fine. Bought one at the local port for a much higher price and after a year it was just as difficult. The newest ones I've bought seem to have the best score line. Although they have increased in price. Let's see what happens in a year. I will buy again if necessary.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Doubt

The primer ball is too soft and fell apart

When I took this out of the box, the first thing I noticed was that the primer ball was very soft compared to the original, but I put it in anyway. At full throttle on the lake, a lightbulb burst and the engine died. With a little fiddling, I was able to expand it, but it kept collapsing. Replaced by Atwood, no more problems.

Pros
  • good
Cons
  • not bad

Do not do that! I got stranded in the middle of a lake

I've read all these reviews about how bad these pieces of junk are and I've looked the other way because of the 4+ star rating and the cost . BIG MISTAKE! THIS LEFT ME OK! I literally had to row my 22ft boat across the lake and managed to hit a rock twice due to the wind. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! Save yourself the headache. It was the first weekend he was gone.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Fading

Good product in fuel system

This fill line was purchased to adapt a marine fuel tank to an auxiliary generator fuel tank when the original generator plastic fuel tank cracked after 10 years. Added fittings at each end and the generator ran perfectly. It appears to be almost pure rubber, so I guess I'll have to keep an eye on the sun's rays. Check valves worked perfectly. The fuel inlet fittings fit snugly onto the hose and will not leak. It also came with three hose clamps to aid in the process. Would buy again…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Reliability
