I used to love this tape but with the latest roll I can't find a way to reliably remove the protective film. I pierced it with a knife and it came off easily. Now I'm destroying strip by strip, but to no avail. I contacted Surtape but sent this list back to Revain. zero stars.

tape very difficult to remove from the adhesive. I'm debating whether I should keep trying to remove the prop and risk my sanity, or throw away the rungs of the ladder I've already put it on entirely. Yes, and when I tried to rip a strip of tape off my stairs, it ripped all the paint off my step. Wouldn't recommend it. Unless I'm an idiot and can't understand it.

I use this woodworking tape to temporarily glue wood together during production. For this purpose it works fine. You can adjust the level of adhesion with the amount of tape used. I've never found a really good way to remove the plastic from the front, so I sometimes have to poke around with my thumbnail to get started, but I think that's probably the case with any double-sided tape.

Ok guys I also thought after receiving this band that I was scammed! I have read all reviews and descriptions. I even read the packaging with the tape and it didn't say anywhere that it was double sided. It had double coat written on it so I just knew that's why I couldn't get the blue off! But wow - a bit of patience, nails or tweezers, it worked and now I LOVE this TAPE. I used it for my outdoor patio. CONCRETE. Just keep it on a roll to remove. DO NOT cut it first
