I love the color chart that comes with the set. I entered each color as a gradation so now I know exactly the number for each color. These are good pens for the price.

These were good smooth writing crayons exactly what I ordered. What I liked the most was that there were many shades of blue and pink, about 10 of each color.

This set of colored pencils is very useful. I am designing an embroidered piano case. Graphing the design in color really helps me visualize the end results. The only thing I would have liked was a pencil sharpener.

The packaging is the best thing about this pencil set. I have a lot of kits and use them in different ways depending on the project I'm doing. The PROBLEM with this is that so much lead dust is left on the page that it stains what is being worked on and there is nothing that can be done about it other than try to enjoy the kaleidoscope of colors on the page. So I wanted to fall in love with this product. The variety of colors is overwhelming! The box it comes in is very practical along with the trays. My issue with them is that the fit wasn't smooth. Judging by who used PrismaColor, they are completely different. These pencils had a very waxy feel and were very streaky and not smooth when applied to paper. Buy Excellent Pencils. I read other reviews. People talk about how pencil lead slows down when you sharpen it. This is because you're not sharpening them properly by pressing too hard and too hard. Use an electric pencil sharpener, hold it firmly, don't press hard. Try not to lean up, down, or right to left while sharpening. And you won't have any problems. All colored pencils are like that. While Prismacolor might set the standard for great colored pencils, I honestly wouldn't spend that much money on something that's not my craft. I have several sets of Crayola and Staedtler colored pencils and they seemed to fit perfectly as I needed more than 3 different types of green.
