Worked great when we were out! We usually pay a neighbor to feed the fish. We were out of town for a week. Highly recommended

The flakes get completely stuck and clog the machine. Small pellets will probably work. I didn't have them and my young children didn't eat for 2 weeks. Oops

Hello, would be great for a 25 gallon aquarium but not for a small 2-5 gallon aquarium which is the least consumption when feeding 15 small round feed betta fish food pellets which is too much for a 2 gallon aquarium at one time even for 72 hours. So I had to return it for those reasons only, if not for a large tank judging by my testing with it.

Here it is. The instruction is clear. No shutdown button should remove the batteries to stop. Used with muesli. Only a few flakes fall. Due to the high amount of flakes, the fish need more than one feeding per day. Otherwise worked well for our weekend getaway. It has handy buttons to choose how often to feed. I recommend checking the amount that will fall out before attaching it to the tank. It also attaches easily to the tank. Would buy again.

I was afraid to leave my son's betta on a feeder for a week after reading horror stories. So I decided to try this. I'm so glad I did. It was a fantastic purchase, not only did it feed our Betta, I felt confident my son would be able to stop by after his holiday and I wouldn't have to have an awkward conversation with him.
