I liked the very clear picture and description so I knew what I was buying. Not the lowest price but felt like I could count on it.

Easy installation. Be careful not to damage the threads on the washers as they are most likely made of plastic. The problem of water hammer was easily solved.

Excellent quality of their work. Apparently, this device and others like it have a lifespan. When my store bought versions started rattling loudly, they fixed the problem and saved me a few bucks on downloading.

After purchasing a new washer/dryer kit, I experienced water hammer related to these new types of washers. I installed it on the back of the washing machine and it took care of the water hammer right away. Unexpectedly, they even stopped the water hammer my ice cooler and water dispenser were generating. 5 big stars!

Before that, a reducing fitting was installed, which leaked a year later. I wasn't sure if they would work as they don't relieve the pressure but I'm happy to say they did. They must be installed on the washing machine, and not on the water supply. Also, they leaked with a standard rubber hose washer first as there isn't much surface area on the male end. Changed to a washer with washer and that fixed the issue.

We live in a house with a thousand miles of copper pipe and when our washing machine uses hot water it sounds like a scene from Tarzan with the monkeys breaking all the pots. He said he needed a water seal. And for the price I fell for it. Unfortunately this has been reconfirmed, you get what you pay for. This removed some of the noise so it sounds like a bunch of gorillas from Tarzan, not the whole bunch. So that got some good results, but not enough for what we needed. MC Beast refuses.
