It works . but - Rough plumbing work

Before that, a reducing fitting was installed, which leaked a year later. I wasn't sure if they would work as they don't relieve the pressure but I'm happy to say they did. They must be installed on the washing machine, and not on the water supply. Also, they leaked with a standard rubber hose washer first as there isn't much surface area on the male end. Changed to a washer with washer and that fixed the issue.
