It broke immediately on Serveware

The "bell" broke off almost immediately from porcelain or some side frangible material from which it is made. I'm afraid to put a lot of oil on it for fear of future chips, but I don't want to go back and buy another that does the same, so I'll get by. Basically it works. It's nice but I'm worried about chips in my oil

Looks great and does what it's supposed to!

This butter dome packs easily, spreads butter without getting too soft and looks great on my desk. Exactly what I was looking for! I also bought the navy blue one so I always have one in the dishwasher and the other full. Add ice water every day, especially in summer, to keep the oil fresh. I highly recommend this product.

This oil holder REALLY WORKS!

I knew about "butter bells" but never got around to doing anything with that information until recently browsing this category. Many of the options depend on the lid and promise freshness, but that's not how oil bells traditionally work. And then I saw this one. Beautiful yellow called my name and the traditional design sealed the deal. (I love Irish oil, but don't like the higher price of a "soft" version.
