Well if for the right application.

Purchase with care. Make sure you know exactly what your motor is for. These are resistive wires, not a solid copper core. They're probably perfect for newer EFi or DFI engines, but not older carbureted engines.

Only received 5 wires out of 6 ordered

Ordered these wires to get the boat ready. We received them the day before the trip to find that one of the wires was missing. This made walking a last minute inconvenience today. So far this is my only complaint.

A friend of mine put them on his Evinrude and the difference was beyond amazing even after the 'mechanic' told us it was.

I won't really know until tomorrow when we get the boat out BUT! My friend put them on his Evinrude and the difference was beyond amazing even after the "mechanic" told us it wouldn't help.

Excellent cables are the best in spark plugs

Very good quality cables. Much higher quality components and assembly. I'm going to the local store to buy it because I need it fast. Not only is it more expensive, it's a set of components. I'm a car mechanic and I've never seen anything like this before. He says you need a special crimping tool for assembly and about 15 minutes of work. So not only is the kit more expensive, but there's now $20 more for the job at $80 an hour. Now I keep them in stock. The problem is solved.

This is NOT a direct replacement for OMC 582365

This is NOT a direct replacement for OMC 582365 although it is listed. My original OMC 582365 spark plug wires were copper and had a resistance of less than 1 ohm. The 6 inch Sierra spark plug wire has a resistance of 235 ohms. I bought a 6" wire and a 9" wire to match my original lengths, but the 9" wire has a resistance of 375 ohms and that's too much variation. These Magforce wires are supposed to reduce RFI, but I don't care, I just want my outboard to work properly.
