Three glass mold aspherical lenses provide excellent correction for distortion, color aberration and field curvature. Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting and provides sharp and high contrast images even at the maximum aperture. The superior telecentric optical design improves image quality throughout the frame. Lens not zoomable.

Small, fast and razor-sharp

This thing makes for great standard 'Nifty Thirty Eight' fixed focus on the E-M5II. It's fast, light and sharp. I'd like a little more than f2.8, but given the image quality and price, it definitely holds up. The compact size is only worth the price. I only took off one star for landscape photography because I think it's not wide enough for a lot of landscape work. 19mm is the way to go and this one is great for the small 19mm M43 lens. Good price, terrible aperture up to f5.6

This is a regular lens for regular M 4/3 work. I tested black and white and color street photography on the Lumix G7. At full aperture, this lens is pretty bad. Blurred with chromatic aberrations and overall softness. Only at f4-f5 does it start to be controlled, and at f5.6 you get good images. Not sure if this is a better solution than the original 14-42mm kit lens which also has f5.6 when zoomed in. The equivalent focal length is 38mm, which I find a bit narrow. Great for photography but not good for video

I've tried several APS-C Sigma lenses as well as Sony OEM lenses. This little lens is probably the best sleeping lens on the market. I mean it doesn't look like much. It doesn't look like much. It's not even that expensive. But the pictures he takes are amazing. I did a comparison shoot with this and four other lenses.
