IT works for IT - data storage

You will need at least an hour to set up this cabinet. The designs are good enough. holds my switches, router, modem and looks great on the wall. It's a $100 closet because you have to assemble everything. Just plan and it's good.

Pros
  • Computer and accessories
Cons
  • For old

Took me 1 hour to assemble it using the instructions that came with it. This may take longer. Part of the delay was due to several parts being damaged inside the inner shrink wrap in the intact and still connected box. It certainly looks like it came from the factory. Since the packaging looked normal, the damage was only discovered during installation on site. I was able to fit it but it is crooked and the door will only latch if there is a load in one direction due to the curved bottom. The…

Rugged Rack for Home/Small Office Inexpensive

First you need to understand that this is not a corporate rack, it is mainly made of sheet metal but strong enough for network equipment and shallow depth. Server. The hardware is pretty powerful and assembly was a breeze; every single hole is aligned (which honestly shocked me for a $200 12U rack) and the instructions were more than enough. Although it comes with an Allen key, you will need a small Phillips screwdriver to attach the back panel. The included cage nuts are pretty standard and…

Works and looks good, very difficult to assemble

I like the end product. Seems strong and holds what I need. However, the instructions are almost useless. Super tiny (thank god the phone camera blew up). But even then the order of assembly was unknown, the almost inaccessible attachment points and the clumsiness of assembling with two hands caused trouble. It lasted several hours. I won't be using a wall mount as I don't like the wall mount features. I'll have to see if it can be removed.
