I ordered size XL based on someone's response that XL is a size 12-14. It was wrong. The XL label says 14-16. They were too big for my 11 year old who needs 12-14 year olds. We will now order L. Otherwise these are great shorts.

They arrived quickly and are perfect in length, color and quality. We ordered a large one. My son is a fairly slim 13 year old but they are nice and adjustable with a drawstring. They stay in place when you tie them because the fabric is a comfortable thick cotton and the ties aren't flimsy or slippery.
