We needed a simple lock that employees could quickly open and enter the break room. Unlocking takes longer than we would like so they have been keeping the door open for about 7 months now. We have attempted to remove the four digit code to allow the doorknob to remain unlocked. We spent a few hours following the instructions over and over again and finally gave up. We cannot remove the code to keep the door unlocked. We just have to remove both door handles we bought and install another item.

Great product for the price. The "randomly flashing numbers" after entering the code is 4-3-2-1, which is just lazy product programming, but it works fine for home use. The instructions are translated into some broken English, so take your time installing and programming the device, and the reset button will take you back to step one if you make a mistake. Use good quality batteries for smooth operation. Only your master code can be used to keep the door unlocked, so additional programmed codes

* Programming guide is very unclear.* If you don't use long codes (8+ digits), this lock is very easy to crack because of the way you enter the code. If you enter a long random sequence of numbers, the door will open if you enter the code anywhere in that sequence. For example, if your code is 1234 and you accidentally enter 68756404735587363432721543723123487657468464, the door will open because 1234 was in this mess. * They really should have used tactile buttons.
