There is no best headset in this price range. The sound is good. excellent cleanliness. The microphone picks up well. What impresses me the most is that Sigtronics will support this product with excellent service and parts for many years to come. I have a pair that I have worn for almost 20 years and now have a second set for guests.

In my opinion the best headset for the money on the market. Noise cancellation, clarity, comfort and more all feel like high-end headsets. I fly out of FBO flight school and have borrowed many good quality headsets when I forgot mine and have always been amazed at how good this headset is. You won't mistake this for an active noise-cancelling headset, but it works very well.

I have flown various military and civilian aircraft and taught communications courses for 40 years. My Signronics S-20 was hands down the best headset for the money I've ever used. It's not hard to buy it as an entry-level headset to save money, or keep it as a spare, or (if you're as good as mine) use the S-20 as your primary headset.
