This is a simple tool with a flat hard rubber jaw on one side and a small rubber cone on the opposite side. It was a big disappointment that I couldn't do any evaluations with this tool. So I attached two thin pieces of wood veneer to a hard rubber sponge with a gap between the cone using double sided tape. The modded tool seems to work pretty well. Something must be different in my tool as most of the reviewers like it. I think a hard rubber flat jaw should either be a little softer or curved.

This glass twister is a game changer. I've been doing stained glass for over a decade and a half and never knew it existed. They allow cuts that used to be incredibly difficult. A++++.
