I use my silhouette machine for work so I use it all the time and cut. I cut out 20 to 50 5x6 drawings each month. When I started using the standard blade, it burned out very quickly. I didn't want to write this review until this one burned out and I couldn't double check. With the amount of cuts I do this took me 7 months. I have been using Silhouette products for over 10 years but I am VERY disappointed in this disc. I got this from going through regular blades quickly. While this works well IF it works, most of the time it doesn't. It doesn't sit well in the blade body and rises high enough when cutting that there are spots that don't cut at all (mostly I cut vinyl). I spent SO MANY sheets of vinyl on this blade it's insane. This blade changes everything for me. Chipboard molds for threaded spools. MANY chipboard shapes and each 12 x 12 sheet needs to be put through the cameo twice with a double cut. With the older blades I was able to cut 3 sheets cleanly and ended up with 5 more incomplete sheets that were increasingly difficult to clean before the blade had to be replaced. It was tedious work.
