14-Ounce Multicolored Ceramic Mug with Slytherin House Crest from Silver Buffalo - Harry Potter Review

I love this mug! He is strong and huge! My boyfriend and I are constantly trying to get ahead of each other. Perfect for soup, coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate (big enough for a few full marshmallows!). You can also wash in the dishwasher. Maybe I just need to buy another one! Not to mention this is Harry Potter and if you don't like it then you are clearly a muggle.

The Ravenclaw crest itself is the correct colour: beautiful royal blue. The rest of the mug though. What appears blue in the photos in the item listing is actually a shade of purple unfortunately. What something like lilac grey. Which is great if you like that kind of thing, but it's definitely not Ravenclaw, and it's an unfortunate combination with a real part of the Ravenclaw crest, as the crest is correct. I was so happy to get this one to give to other Ravenclaw! :( So disappointed. :'(

This monster mug looks more like a soup mug, but it's awesome! The huge size surprised me at first as I missed the size in the description when ordering. All I saw was 9-3/4 on the side and I had to have it! The image of "dark" tea leaves on the bottom of the cup is worrying due to the nature of Grim! However, this mug makes a great coffee mug. I'm also considering finding a 9-3/4 lane before he exits the station. This is a ceramic mug, so be careful not to break it!

My son and I love HP, my wife doesn't. So I got this mug and was so happy to get it, nice and big for lots of coffee. I hand washed it for another cup later in the day and didn't want to wait for the dishwasher. My wife reached for the cup to put it down, looked in and saw what she thought was unwashed.
