Nice pillow but delicate

I used these pads in Carhartt Logger Double Front Jeans. I love how soft and comfortable they are, but when I had to take one off, it tore in half in one of the creases. As long as they don't need to be taken out, they're fine. They are excellent for washing and drying. One final note: unlike rigid foam pads, the creases in them will cause your jeans to unravel by showing the outline of each crease. No big deal, just how to do it.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

if you have a pair 5.11; This specification; or, Proper tactical pants, these [imported from England] are the best you can buy. Nice and fat. Insert them and forget them; washable. Better than USGI pads. They will arrive after a while if you don't live in Europe. Thicker ones are difficult to insert. More visible and bulkier than 5.11 pads. You wouldn't wear pants with this unless you're an old fart (HELP, get off the floor [I 68]); or work in the forest. Fits very well in a bag. Very cozy…

  • change price

Thick knee pads. It takes patience to get in.

Sent from England. It lasted a couple of weeks. Went to 5.11 Tac Pants. There is a small pocket inside, big enough to put in. To get them you need to cut off the top flap, roll them up with the long side, the shiny side out and the short side up. After putting them in your pocket, put your hand inside and turn it over. I also have a pair of 5.11 pads that used to come with pants. and clunky looking pads 5.11. Except at work or in the woods, you probably wouldn't wear pants with it. It seems to…

  • nice thing
