Purchased for my HTPC in a Corsair Obsidian 240D. I want a slim optical drive installed to watch DVD and Blu-ray movies. The front of this unit perfectly matches the front of the Corsair Obsidian cases. All mounting hardware included. Another great product from Silverstone.

Prime delivered quickly. Space for four (4) 2.5 SSD or HDD. High quality product. A surprise to me was the addition of a Slim DVD Caddy on top of the bay. The only problem is that you need a 7mm DVD. I don't think 7.5mm is enough. I know that 9.5mm and 12.5mm won't fit through the narrow front opening. Good luck finding DVD/Blueray 7-7.5mm. You will also need a motherboard with five (5) SATA ports to get the most out of your device. All in all a good product!

I only needed room for one SSD drive so more than enough room for 4 x 2.5" drives. I just needed to fill the 5.25 inch space that used to house the internal optical drive. I have since replaced it with an external thin drive for use with other systems. Because it's aluminum, it fits my aluminum suitcase perfectly. My PSU is now the heaviest piece; I look forward to aluminum power supplies.

Looks fantastic and will not only match old Silverstone cases but also old ATC lines from Lian Li and Cooler Masters. Notebook. All screws and holes match perfectly. The drive bay is covered in a very light synthetic fabric, although mine is a bit off-center. I wish it was a little softer and a little more aligned, but it's perfectly functional. Absolutely great for cleaning the insides of small computers or freeing up full-size 3.5" drive cages for desktop drives.

The main product image shows that all four 2.5 inch drives are installed in the same orientation. You are not. The manual doesn't make it clear either. The top two discs are mounted upside down on the underside of the detachable center panel.
