screaming lady. Best in Computer Components

This power supply is just like the name, beautiful until you hear it scream. It's ok from the start but when the load kicks in he sounds like a maniac!

Unbearably loud - fan had to be re-soldered with potentiometer

This is about the only 500W flexible power supply you'll find, so I'm grateful for that. But the fan is unbearably loud with a very high pitched screech. I knew about this while working on the SFF build, but it was really unbearable. I ended up opening up the PSU and hooking up a linear potentiometer to one of the fan wires which is on the outside of the case so I now have a knob to manually decrease the fan speed. I considered replacing the fan with a quieter one, but it's a 15mm thick…

Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

It's LOUD as hell. best in internals

Nice small form factor, works as it should but is unbearably loud. I had to replace the stock fan with a 40mm Noctua fan and now it's perfect. You'll need a 3-pin to 2-pin adapter if you're thinking of swapping out fans. -1 star because the fan is noisy. Otherwise it would be perfect.

Pros
  • Internal power supplies
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not the part you're looking for.

Purchased to build a small form factor PC. The cables are very long and difficult to bend. The fan is incredibly loud even when the computer is idle. I don't know why the Silverstone version of this PSU is so inferior to other brand versions.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Almost OK
