I never thought of replacing it, but the old filter screen and the screw have seen better days. This fits like the original. Very easy.

This cute little one has been keeping my bathtub drain free since I've had it. Had no strainer before (old house, lost) and was constantly buying heavy duty drain cleaners to clear clogs. I can't say enough about this little thing other than thank you.

This drain looks great. However, if you want a full size 3" drain cap, this is NOT the one. It really is a 2 7/8". In my case, this leaves a very small margin around the actual visible drain. It looks like the bathtub is dirty, but it's not, it's a drain (which should be closed). I wanted to avoid that.
