It took me hours to assemble some stands that required bending by hand (my dad had to bend) to match the metal rod and hole, never buying again/Actually am thinking of another type that comes assembled (another company)

Ideal for different size plastic plates on the bottom shelf. I used to stack them, but found it difficult to grab a cymbal or two from below with one hand (sometimes only available when grabbing cymbals).

I returned them. The $6 plastic version is stronger. Good: Quick and easy to set up, looks good Bad: Upper shelves are not suitable for plates or anything else heavy. Shelf supports come out of the fittings when items are placed on the top shelves.

Very easy to assemble, nice metal. I should have checked the height of my closet shelf first, but I can use the bottom two rows and just can't put anything on top. However, the top shelf is a bit wobbly due to the way it connects to the other shelf, so it might be best not to put anything on that top shelf. It was a little cheaper than similar products and it does the job.

I'm a little disappointed because these blocks didn't connect as easily as I thought. Editing was off and each shelf didn't fit that well. During installation I had to press the top and bottom shelves together firmly to keep them from falling apart. Once installed and loaded, they stay together. Maybe I should have looked for shelves that were already assembled or spot welded. They work and that's it.

Not very strong and both want to fall apart all the time. I'll save them and see if I can super glue them where they match. One is better than the other. One was made defective and they need solid shelving. They are suitable for plates, but the bowls constantly fall into the holes and do not stand up. I raised a shelf in the kitchen cabinet so the top shelf can be used. You save space if you can use the top shelf. I wish they were stronger and matched properly!

Very easy to assemble but it is true as others have mentioned that the bars do not stay in place once you start playing cymbals on the 2nd or 3rd rack to place. I manually used a small piece of steel wire to keep the bars from going up and it has worked really well ever since. You can't see it from the front, so it's ok. My advice: if you don't mind doing a 5-minute prep to make it work better, buy it now. If you don't mind, another alternative with additional bars might work for you.
