Very good! Very durable and comfortable for my slim little guy. I love the functional lacing and honestly that's the main reason I bought it. We've used them extensively over the past few months and they've performed really well. Seems a bit big.

Good quality fabric. Good comfortable belt for a child who can't bother with buttons. But super long. Fits more like a Capri.

The elastic waistband is loose and the drawstring is too short to use. Shorts with elastic button closure are easier to adjust for a snug fit.

I ordered 5T for 3.5 years. He is tall for his age with a long torso and shorter legs. These shorts fit well around his waist, the functional drawstring helped, but the inseam was a little long on him. I keep the shorts. We simply raise them a little higher or roll them up.

The fit was too large at the waist. When using the backstage, they were tightened at the bottom of the braid and the top part stuck up. I had to make them too tight so he could take them off himself so he could wear them. The length was ok. The fabric is great. I have now bought it in his size and another. I had a hard time finding the perfect shorts for my 28 month old, even 2 year old shorts don't fit him. This product has been a lifesaver for me while potty training, skinny boy. The material is good and has functional drawstrings that keep it in place. You can opt for this if you are looking for something like this.

I've been buying Simple Joys for a long time and I'm generally happy with their products. However, these particular shorts were a huge disappointment. As you can see from the photos, after about a month the stitching that connects the elastic waistband to the body of the shorts came undone on BOTH PAIRS. This is simply unacceptable and I advise others considering these shorts not to repeat my mistake. I wish someone had warned me.
