📚 SimpleHouseware Desktop Document Letter Tray Organizer, Black - 6 Trays Review

Sometimes the simple things can save a lot of time and cheer you up. This organizer is definitely one of them. The packaging was good, all parts were in good condition. I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Watch my video, I'll show you the details.

This is a great purchase for anything that needs to get done in a small space. It's not bulky and surprisingly contains a lot of documents for my genealogy and hobbies. Shelves are spacious and angled. On the top shelf I use 3 pretty matching red cherry coffee mugs, laid on their side (handles up) for pencils, pens, scissors, pliers and paint brushes. There is enough space below for binders, letters, calculators, etc. Aloha!

I wasn't sure about the purchase because I didn't like the mesh design, but the functionality convinced me. This paper organizer is great. I was amazed at how strong it was once I put everything together. It includes all of my extra notepads, colored paper, white paper, binders, and even has room for my tape and scissors. I keep all my shipping materials under the bottom shelf.

Received and used again after my office renovation. I took it out of the box and assembled it. Found it a bit strange and found that the slides for the 2 shelves didn't match. In other words, the rail on one side was higher than the other side or side frame. I thought I paid enough attention to the alignment of the side frames when assembling, but out of 6 shelves only 2 had this issue so I decided that wasn't the issue. I thought it was steel but when I tried to shape one of the sides it broke

I found it easy to assemble and serves my purpose. However, it has two disadvantages. For some reason the manufacturers put it on small feet, which means you can't put it very close to the edge or it might slide off. I was planning on putting mine on the power supply of my 12x12" masterpiece, but since the mount is a bit wider and has those stupid feet, it should sit right on top of my desk and take up more real estate than I intended. I really don't understand the good reviews about it. Before you buy, please note: 1. This is one of the examples of bad design. The distance from one shelf to another is very small. Thus, the hand does not easily get into the tray. It will make your life harder if you save a medium sized letter. It will take a lot of effort to grab it.2.
