I bought shop towels to keep my shop clean. I've had them sitting in the corner of the store since they arrived. I took it out of the box and all. And they haven't cleaned my shop yet. I'm not sure what to expect. do i have to feed them I tried to say nice things to cheer her up. When that didn't work, I yelled at her. But they still stand on the shelf and do nothing. I just do not understand.

Bought to replace paper towels in the kitchen. They shouldn't be beautiful or last forever. I washed them once and my dryer picked up 3.5 packs of lint. I used them to dry my wet hands and ended up with lint on my fingers. That alone means I can't use them as paper towels. They leave surfaces dry but soiled with lint. You have a lot of loose threads and sewing errors. Fabrics are not the same thickness or texture. I would return them but the refund amount isn't really worth the time and effort.

They are great for daily cleaning in my kitchen. I've been buying these for a long time. I take them out, wash them in hot water and dry them at high temperature. They shrink (cotton) and make great kitchen towels! They do not crumble even after several washes. I use them to strain oil (frying oil, bacon grease), puree everything. Wow! I use these in place of my paper towels. I try to reduce disposable products. I no longer use paper towels for cleaning, just these. They work better than any other substitutes I've found. We blow our noses, wipe the toilet, clean surfaces etc with it, wash it with bleach in the washing machine, fresh and new. I haven't bought paper towels in 2 months. They look like the red towels you see, I bought them at Lowe's. But when I washed the reds with other washcloths they turned everything pink, so I found them on Revain in white without all that pesky red dye. These are rough rags like the red ones commonly used in gas stations and the like. These are not good soft kitchen towels, order kitchen towels if you wish. They are great if you have the right expectations of them. We bought these to replace paper towels (not entirely, but for all but rough use). The pros are that they are a good size and work just like paper towels in terms of absorbency and absorbency, and there are plenty of them.
