For little boys and plus size men

I liked that there were so many patterns, but the men's shirt patterns were huge (I had another men's shirt pattern instead that fit all the men in the family, and this sample was significantly smaller than this sample) and the boy samples were for very young boys. I was trying to make a shirt for my 10 year old grandson and neither men's nor boys' patterns fit.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of style

Quick, easy pattern.

Clear instructions, it took me about 4 hours on the machine (with numerous interruptions). I think without children everything would go much faster. I made short sleeves and long sleeves. The only thing I didn't like was the buttonhole for the top button, so I changed it to a regular buttonhole. I have a lot of experience sewing clothes and suits, not sure how easy it will be for a beginner.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive

Good idea; poor instructions

The pattern is not for beginners. Very few instructions. Mostly foreign languages, so I can't comment on the content, but the English is too abbreviated. For example, it says "pin sleeves together right sides together, pin sleeve to edge of armhole," but you don't have to baste first to get the sleeve in place. It won't work if you don't do it right, and how would a newbie know that? Good idea; bad guide.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • flimsy
