I delayed the purchase for a very long time. When I bought and received this I was impressed with how well made and durable it is. The first time I took an old lime that was starting to get hard I thought I couldn't get juice out of that lime. Well I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how much juice that little lime gave! I use it for limes, lemons and small oranges. I just love it! I have severe arthritis and have no problem with it.

Every night I squeeze fresh juice from a lemon that is part of the medical regiment. I received this in mid-May. It's early November, 5 1/2 months, and it split in half tonight. I noticed micro-cracks in the plastic near the hinge after the first week, but since it still worked and quite well, I left it. Today he breathed his last. I don't think the lemons I buy are very big, but they were too big for this product. The lemons may need to be quartered, but now I'm looking for a metal juicer.

Simposh was new to me and I had to try it. It is very light and I found that a plus when using it. This is a very unusual design that uses an offset hinge, similar to large commercial vertical juicers with a drop arm handle, effectively giving you a lot more gripping power with a lot less effort.
