Well built and very strong love these post bases. I prefer them to bases with screw holes because you can screw the stands to them. The only comment I have is that they were too tight (which is better than being too loose) for the 6x6 stock I was using. However, be sure to use Tapcons to prevent them from spinning. The center screw is not enough to hold it in place.

In general, everything works fine. The metal plates that you screw the post onto will flex slightly if you don't push the post all the way into the ground. Also note that depending on the local wood, some 6X6 racks are very tight. We had to hit them with a hammer to make them touch the ground and one of them doesn't quite touch. Still works fine, but that's where a bit of metal bending comes into play.

I bought 4 of these to build a pergola over my patio and needed an efficient way to mount my 6x6 poles to concrete.
