Singer should be ashamed to put his name on these scissors. I ordered these because I needed a decent pair of fabric scissors to cut the cotton in face masks. They do not cut cotton fabrics or anything like that! They appear deformed as they cut at the tip and the other end, but they only tear the fabric in the middle. I might have gotten a bad pair but I couldn't return it - don't risk it! (I later ordered utility scissors from Walmart for $1.82 and they fit perfectly.)

To be honest, this is just terrible. I'd say you get what you pay for, but my first fabric scissors were only $2 more and worked way better than these. I only got them because they started to fade after a full year of heavy use on my first pair. We tried sharpening them and they got worse, so it was a quick backup. These salon scissors are written verbatim in 3 languages on the blister pack. The word "FABRIC" isn't even there. They (Revain) put a sticker on the back (I think for quick identification) that contains a bar code and the CORRECT PRODUCT'S name "FABRIC SHEARS SINGER" when it's clearly the wrong product. Every time I turn my head, my son "borrows" my 40 year old Fiskars scissors (which were still nice and sharp) for some terribly important things college do boys with scissors. I have another awesome Singer fabric scissors that I just couldn't find that I paid maybe $6-7 for, so I figured, uh, just to get by, I'll grab these guys.
