I expected a little more from the Singer brand

The construction is very cheap and looks very flimsy. The pins that attach the handle to the body are misaligned, causing the handle to tilt slightly. I wouldn't trust the handle to hold much weight. The supplies that come with it are cheap and basic, but what you end up with is what the pictures show. Many alternatives are either too small or too expensive for my budget. If, like me, you only sew after a button falls off, this is a good option (although it should really be at least half the…

Sewing is very cheap.

I needed a small sewing kit for the simplest of repairs - basically just needles, thread, scissors and a container to keep everything. So I bought this basket and I wish I had it. This kit is garbage. A singer should be ashamed to put her name on such a product. The drawer is made of clear, disposable plastic, similar to regular clamshell packaging. Very cute and useful but not the best quality

I really like this product, it's very cute. However, the quality is not as good as I had hoped. The top curves slightly when I close it, and it doesn't close when I place a pincushion on the moving tray. I will add photos if possible. I thought the removable tray was hard plastic and not something that appears so disposable. The removable tray is made of flimsy plastic that may not last very long and due to the shape of the basket, neither my mom nor my sisters fit in this basket (or the tray…
