I needed a small sewing kit for the simplest of repairs - basically just needles, thread, scissors and a container to keep everything. So I bought this basket and I wish I had it. This kit is garbage. A singer should be ashamed to put her name on such a product. The drawer is made of clear, disposable plastic, similar to regular clamshell packaging. The thimble is made of molded plastic and has a ridged surface. The scissors have a light and cheap feel and were littered with production leftovers that made grating noises when opened and closed. The basket itself is also cheaply made: It's actually just fabric-covered cardboard with a chipboard bottom. The lining is a thin fluffy satin material. This is not a quality product at all. I will not buy it again nor will I recommend it to anyone. Again, Singer should be ashamed of putting his name on this product. I've seen travel sewing kits that are better quality and half the price.
