Big chunky - Tailor's Awl

Good ergonomic idea but too big and chunky for my medium sized hand. Too big and inconvenient to sew on a machine. If it was at least 1/3 smaller it could be used.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Shilo has another one!

I like this awl. I like the versatility of it. Feels very comfortable in the hand. The tip is too thick, so I wouldn't use it for projects that require small punctures. Very easy to use.

Pros
  • Sewing tools
Cons
  • A few little things

Good to hold for tailor Ahle

I was looking for exactly the awl that suits my needs. This option is perfect. It's light and comfortable to hold, and the "cap" of the awl not only provides good coverage for the tip, but also has a rubber material on the tip to keep the fabric in place. Perfect for my precision sewing.

Pros
  • Sewing supplies and accessories
Cons
  • Expensive
