Works as intended

This is exactly the product I was looking for to lubricate the motor of my vintage rotary sewing machine white corp This is different than sewing machine oil. Use oil in all holes marked for draining oil. This grease is designed to lubricate the motor on these machines through the motor wicks. This material is a thick paste, machine oil is much thinner.

Pros
  • All purpose cleaner specially formulated for sewing/knitting machines, vacuum cleaners, household appliances, typewriters, computers, bicycle gears and many other uses
Cons
  • Not sure

Not worth the money

I have used sewing machine lube for years and this is the worst I have ever used. The oil is usually supplied in liquid form for easy distribution. This is in paste form, making it impossible to get into the parts of the machine that really need it the most. You literally have to take the car apart to apply it. Even after you squeeze it you have to spread it out as it only sits where you apply it which is very messy.

Pros
  • Protects against rust and prevents excessive wear
Cons
  • Obsolete

Singer lubricant, not oil.

Grease This is not a smaller oil container. As far as I know it is white silicone grease. Singer keeps the formula a secret. This lubricant is useful for gears, cams, etc. where oil just drips off. The owner's manual usually doesn't say where to apply the lubricant. You'll need your machine's service manual to find all the grease points, or you can find them by opening all the covers and looking, spinning the flywheel, and manipulating the controls.

Pros
  • Designed for use with a wide variety of small electrical and other devices that require gear lubrication, etc. including sewing and knitting machines, vacuum cleaners, home appliances, typewriters, computers, bicycle gears and many other devices.
Cons
  • Out of fashion
