📏 Precision Stitch Gauge & Guide: Seam Measuring Tool for Machine Sewing by SINGER Review

Sponge works great. It is very comfortable. The seam guide moves as I sew, so I don't use it. It seems to stick well but it still moves around a bit and my stitching was wrong. I like the feel of the items - they remind me of some of the dominoes I have.

I have been looking for a good guide for my sewing machine for a long time. I was told not to use the magnetic seam guide on the electronic sewing machine, so I gave this a try. In fact, I ordered 3 sets for two of my other favorite sewing machines. That works great. I have tried other seam guides and this is by far the best.

The purchase is worthwhile just because of the stitch gauge! It has the "slim 1/4" that many quilting patterns call for. No more trying to decipher those confusing lines on the needle plate. Along with a sharp sewing machine needle, this is an essential tool for anyone who sews/quilts and wants their seams to look straight, even and professional.

My Singer has seam markings on the needle plate but no indication of their size. This little tool does just that! Super easy to use and keeps my stitches absolutely straight. The only thing I would like is not to be glued to the guide (I have a plastic spool cover and it tries to lift it when I remove the guide); I wish they had used a magnet instead. Otherwise I recommend these.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of this product and it's not easy to use. It takes some time to ensure the correct position of the needle. I bought this to sew perfect 1/4" seams but it's not worth the time. Even a week after I bought it. I saw it for half price at Hobby Lobby. I should have waited. I've noticed that many of the items I've bought from A can be found cheaper locally.
