The best blade for crafts

I have a craving for the Russian Neva technical razor blade made of carbon steel. Every time I tried to cut a piece of wood with a different straight razor, the edge not only dulled, it broke. Run your finger along the edge and you'll feel the edge curve to the side. You can't cut anything with it. The Neva was not made of stainless steel, was prone to rust and cracking, but retained a good cutting edge. I've tried many double and single blades and they all get lost after the first cut through…

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Only available in black

No longer made in the USA

I'm glad I have some of these that are still made in the USA. If you are lucky enough to get some that still say "Made in the USA" then this is a 5 star product. New shipments of their razor blades now no longer say they are made in the USA and the quality really reflects that. When they run out I will look for another razor blade manufacturer that still believes in quality.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Okay, but next time I'll use a different brand.

Professional racket master. I use razor blades to trim racket handles. I need a sharp blade to get a clean cut and it's fine for a few handles and then they dull. It is not very good. The ones I got from Ace Hardware were better.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • For pensioners
