I bought this for my 2005 Honda Pilot hoping it would solve a sudden slip and shift problem, but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem. Guess I was overly optimistic because I figured that was all that was wrong with my 320,000-mile Honda.

Ordered because I thought this sensor was causing switching problems. The item was delivered quickly, safely and soundly, everything was fine. After about 3 weeks, the D5 display started flashing, I hadn't had such a problem before. The scanner showed this sensor to be bad so I replaced it with the old part and that solved the D5 blinking problem. Another fix resolved the original problem. Read the review, this is a common thing for this seller's product.

Not only did the part arrive with detailed installation instructions, the instructions included diagnostic codes for which a replacement switch was designed.
