When my Sirius windscreen broke after more than five years of use I was concerned that I would not be able to find a suitable replacement. In a way I was right - this one is better. I used to have to persuade my friend to stick the old one on my window because the suction cup was awful and seemed to have a magical touch. I can do that myself without any problems. That's great. I highly recommend it.

After the suction cup on my original mount wore out I searched everywhere for a new mount including Radio Shack and the Sirius website. Not available anywhere! Then I checked Revain, and here it is. The seller offered it at a reasonable price and it was there a few days after ordering. Very satisfied with the product and the service I received from the seller.

I blame myself for choosing this item. I should have studied the picture more closely. It's practically useless as a window mount for my XM Onyx radio. With some effort I was able to semi-permanently attach my radio to the mount, but that wasn't my intention. I don't think it's worth the cost of returning it. Maybe I'll see if I can salvage this item by attaching the adhesive dash mount that came with the radio to the window mount.

Contrary to the description that this bracket comes with everything for a complete installation, it does not include four screws for the mounting plate. Without screws, the product is unusable and not even rated with a star. How much can four tiny screws cost? By the way, if you need to buy screws, these are 4mm x 12mm pan head screws. I recommend you take four lock washers for a tight fit. Home Depot has the screws and washers in their metric cases in the hardware section for about $2.25.

I bought this to install a Sirius Sportster2 radio. holds ok The problem lies in the basic design. I don't expect something at this price to last forever without adjustment, but adjustment requires you to completely disassemble the thing to get at the lone screw used to hold it in place. Then since you probably lost your original setup you have to look at it, to make further adjustments to the real thing you have to take it apart and put it back together every time.

I bought this to use with an XM Onyx radio and it fits perfectly. When I bought it I was concerned that it would be a cheap, lightweight piece of plastic. But I was glad when it arrived that it was a good quality product. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have no complaints. The suction on the window is very strong and when you tighten the knob it doesn't move up and down at all. I am very happy with my purchase and the mount is 100x better than the pointless vent mount that radios…
