These containers are leaking! I packed all kinds of fruit for school for my little brother, from watermelons to apples. Liquid keeps splashing into his lunch bag, so now I have to put those containers in a ziplock bag and then into his lunch box. This defeats the whole purpose and also means an inaccurate description because it says I can pack fruit. They should have said you can pack fruit at your own risk. These containers are only suitable for dry food.

Revain got the measurements wrong. Dimensions shown are how the package will arrive (3 containers stacked as shown) and not for a single container. A more accurate set of (internal) measurements is about 3.75" X 2.5" X 3" where 3" is the height. There is an inner seal in the lid, which can solve leakage problems. The bins are well made (the plastic isn't brittle) so I'll be keeping them (too cheap to bother with returns) but my quest for just the right size bins will continue.

My 5 year old used a BentGo kids lunch box for kindergarten but it was heavy and bulky and didn't leave room for a reusable juice box in her lunch box. I don't know why I waited so long to buy one. These containers are great, we use them for weekend lunches and snacks on the go. I placed chopped fruit, chips, rice mix, cookies and crackers in the containers. The "flexible, leak-proof seal" in the product description suggests they don't leak. I put washed strawberries in my daughter's lunch (so not runny, but obviously there will be some runny from the washing and from the fruit itself) and there was strawberry juice in her lunch box.
