Good sandwich stand

They do their job! I will say that one of the seals in the lid came out. I just put it back in. We don't make insanely messy sandwiches, but what I put in stays there, sealed and fresh. It fits on "normal" bread. Bread Pepperidge Farmhouse. It's cozy but works. As for the height. We usually make cake sandwiches and she's perfect. If you're preparing cold cuts with stuffing, they're likely to crush.

Exactly what I wanted and at a great price

This is the best. My PB&J has a lot of space. So if you want something that goes with thicker meat, cheese, and veggie sandwiches, they should work perfectly, unless you're a Dagwood. I recently rode a bike in my basket in fairly heavy rain and it kept the contents perfectly dry. The inside is smooth, making them easy to hand wash (sorry, can't give dishwasher recommendations). Very happy with my purchase

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Perfect for basic sandwiches

I bought these for my sons lunch boxes to hold their sandwiches and jams. We use Orowheat bread, which is slightly rectangular in shape and usually fits. This bread was a bit wider than usual so I placed it in the box at an angle, it worked fine. I wouldn't recommend a thick sandwich, but they're great for burger sandwiches or meat and cheese sandwiches. They stay tightly closed but my four year old has no trouble opening them himself. They fold up easily for storage and are dishwasher safe.

does the job. suitable for food storage

They are cute and allow me to save on plastic bags. They're not the highest quality plastic, but so far they've lasted half a year with a pack of 2-3 meals a week. A small piece of plastic has chipped off the green, but still fully functional. Not super high quality but I knew that when I saw the price of the product. You get what you pay for and so far I'm happy with my choice. We're going to start another school year with them, so we'll see how they hold up.

Adds a pop of color

I have bought 2 lidded mugs from this brand and use one every day to microwave water which I pour over a tea bag without fear of spoiling it spill and burn it yourself. (We drink iced tea with lunch most of the year since we live in South Texas). I'm slowly replacing my storage containers with clip-on ones. I like the tightness and as I have arthritis in my hands it's good to know that if I drop it it won't spill. Knowing this brand is good I loved seeing it at such a good price.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Hearty sandwich. NOT WATERPROOF!

Today I used one of them. I put the sandwich in the box, snapped the latches on and put it in the fridge. I tipped the usual 2-3 pounds of ice on top like I always do with my dishes (only changed because it was a bit big). 6 hours later, in 90 degree weather, I stop to eat a sandwich. I fished it out of the almost frozen ice. Opened it up and got a very raw sandwich. Unsatisfied. Looking for a Pelican case that can be converted into a sandwich box. I will keep them as they snap tightly. Good…

Suitable for small sandwiches but not airtight.

Small sandwiches are sufficient, but they are not airtight. I suppose if it's just a sandwich you'll be fine, but I took a star off because they leak a lot in the corners. So if you just have orange slices, tomatoes or anything else that could leak liquid, it will leak. Now I bought them mainly for sandwiches but I would love to bring something like tomatoes and cucumbers cucumber or fruit in the second as they are 3 and small something to add to your lunch but I wouldn't risk too much spill…

Great for poolside snacks. But READ this!

Great except for one thing they don't fold/stack when the lids are removed for storage. You must store them exactly as shown in the photo, fully assembled with the top up. So if you have more than one set like I do (dummy!) they will take up a lot of storage space in your closet. So if you want a set that can be stacked together for the least amount of usable storage space, don't buy these! I bought them to take snacks to the pool. I've always used bags in the past, but it's bad for the…

These Sistema Lunch Collection Food Storage Containers, 1.9 Cup, 3 Pack, Blue/Green/Pink, ideal for storing a larger size than just a "lunch" or sandwich option. As advertised they are free of BPA etc but more importantly they are durable and versatile. While I've used them for thin sandwiches, I find them a little flat for anything but a super basic sandwich (no tomato, lettuce, pickles, etc.) or peanut butter and jelly. I use them to store cheese and meat in the fridge drawer. This allows…
